Cau Dat Tea Farm is a place that you should definitely not miss in your itinerary when traveling to Da Lat, a foggy city in the highlands of Vietnam. Let's explore this wonderful place with me today.
Location
Located about 25 km southeast of Da Lat city, Cau Dat Tea Farm is in Cau Dat village, Xuan Truong commune. This tea farm is nearly 100 years old. With an altitude of 1650m from sea level and an area of 230 hectares, it gives us a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountainous area with floating clouds and endless green tea hills.
How to get there?
To get there from Da Lat city center, we can go by motorbike, car or taxi. And it will take us about 30-45 minutes. The drive there is also very enjoyable thanks to the fine road and breathtaking views on both sides of the road.
When is the best time to visit?
It can be said that Cau Dat Tea farm is beautiful all year round. But for me, the best season is early winter in November and December, especially on warm sunny days. In this season, the weather in Da Lat will be chilly, so it will be great to go there to enjoy the scenery with someone and enjoy warm cups of tea.
What to do there?
The first thing that catches our eyes when setting foot there will be the endless green tea hills. This is a great place to take beautiful photos or simply admire its beauty. And at the highest point of the hill, we can visit Cau Dat tea house where we can enjoy warm cups of tea, some snacks and other drinks. Besides we can also buy some specialties. This will be a great place for couples or family to spend time together and admire the beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
