What is your favorite outdoor activity? One of my favorite activities is driving my babe, an old Izuzu around to explore new lands.
As you may know yesterday morning, Sunday, I had a peaceful and relaxing time with my friends at the 37 Household Cafe. Yesterday afternoon, I drove my babe around to explore beautiful places in Mang Den.
My babe is an old 2003 Izuzu trooper. Even though it's an old car, it still works great, and I love it. It is a four-wheel drive car and its engine is very powerful. Besides, its 4 tires have been upgraded to suit offroad tour and tough terrain.
I live in Mang Den, a mountain town in Kon Tum province. Its terrain is mainly mountains and forests. And there are still a lot of dirt roads in Mang Den. That's why off-road vehicles like my trooper are perfect. Have you ever tried driving off-road cars? I'm sure it will be a great experience for you. Yesterday I also drove on those same roads and I must say it was a very good feeling.
And because I had no problems with driving on uneven and steep dirt roads, I was able to reach a nice hill near Khanh Lam Pagoda. It's great to get there. Hooray!
Driving this trooper allows me to reach places that other cars can't reach. I tried driving it to Mang Den meadow yesterday. It is a beautiful meadow, but a bit steep. The grass there was about 1m high and there was no road there. However my trooper went down there easily. And so I got good pictures with it.
And I was also able to drive to a stream at the foothills of Khanh Lam Pagoda. And the photos with that stream were also a reward for me.
It was an exciting adventure with my babe. I'm considering I should have activities like this on a more regular basis. Maybe it will be my weekend activity, because I already feel so refreshed and relaxed doing it. After a week of hard work, it can be a reward for me. I will seriously think about that.
