I have noticed the experimental nature of the Steemit website. There is no set way to use it. Finding content is based on content tags. Then you are able to follow authors you like. This following action creates the content of your feed. Your feed is your filter for the blockchain.
I hope that multiple feed type filters are available in the future. It would help me find and store different kinds of authors. But this is perhaps a selfish wish for how I use the website. I may be doing it the hard way.
Yesterday I used busy.org for the first time. It was similar in function to Steemit.com. It also allows access to the feed filter, but again there is only one category of “followed” authors.
I suspect with the addition of SMTs, new ways of interacting with the blockchain will evolve. I hope for a single website to provide customized interactions rather than needing to contact multiple sites for each token’s content.
