My son who lives in Texas is involved with a new residential community of 'tiny homes'. These homes vary in size, but often are only 300 sq ft. They are becoming more popular as people must downsize.
In the past, I owned a large 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. At the time, there were 6 people living there. Times changed. Life curved. Children grew. Soon I was living there alone. I needed to live a lot smaller.
I felt alone, but actually I was leading the social pack. The baby-boomer generation is aging quickly. The things we have collected over our lives are no longer needed. Practically, I exist in three rooms. A tiny home would work for me.
These homes offer solar power, brilliantly efficient designs, and all of the required functionality of humans. If the local climate allows for outdoor activity, tiny homes are spectacular options,
In 2 weeks I hope to visit my son in Texas. I will try to snap some photos for a future post.
In theory, a tiny home and a Steemit career could be self sustaining. This thought allows a potential glimpse at the future.
Here is today's beauty.
