For the past month or so I have eliminated some of my medications and changed my diet. Tough times! a1drjohnthumb.JPG

The problem is my addiction to bread, potatoes, and rice. I crave the comfort foods. They however boost my blood sugars beyond all acceptable limits.

My diet consists of protein and fat. This allows for over eating.

Today, I am craving pizza. Oh wretched man that I am... who will deliver me from this life of desire. I miss the carefree days of youth.

Each day offers new opportunity to inflict self discipline.

Self discipline loses it’s appeal with age. Length of days seems pointless as death approaches.

A meal from McDonalds may be poison, but it might make me happy.

The citizens of Pompeii did not expect Mount Vesuvius to erupt, but it did. Most people do not expect the economy to fail, but it might. The destructive result will make a volcano seem like a sneeze by comparison.

I think I should order a pizza.

Here is today’s beauty.
