Last night I dreamed of being debt free. This has been on my mind for some time.
Fortunately, I have a positive net worth, but in the mix I have cling to a modest amount of credit debt. Ocassionally I can be impatient. Out comes the credit card and I carry home some junk.
Recently I have set my eye on a new street legal mode of transportation. My electric scooter stays on the sidewalks. This new motorcycle is expensive (in my small budget). It is a depreciating asset.
I learned long ago of the folly associated with borrowing money to purchase a depreciating asset. Therefore, I wish to save money for the purchase.
Being free of my current debt payments will simplify future progress.
I find it curious that governments don’t realize this concept.
