Yesterday, I didn't notice that my OS were updating. I wanted to play DotA 2 then, but due to high ping when testing on DotA 2 Sea Server, I played Zelda BotW instead of DotA 2. At first I thought it was my connection, but after an hour or two, Windows notified me that I need to restart to apply their latest update.
After restarting, I immediately notice something unusual, there's a message that tells me that I need to activate my OS. I do remember that Microsoft told everyone that if they cracked windows 10 they'll be registered as licensed. I didn't know that Microsoft suddenly change their mind.
After seeing that my windows was deactivated, I immediately look for a crack that will activate my OS, upon searching, I stumble on some few posts, of course I didn't install their crack fearing that something might happen if I install something that isn't verified by other users at all. Maybe I'll wait for a better solution once there's a verified crack out there.
Upon checking my windows defender and firewall, they are still active and working perfectly, but I can't shake this worried feeling of my mind.
I hope windows will not disable my firewall and anti-virus for now, as long as it's up, I think, maybe I'm safe.
