Tibidabo Sunset Swarm

Escape the venue and see Barcelona from above.

We ride the Cuca de Llum funicular up to Tibidabo, explore the Temple of the Sacred Heart (Sagrat Cor) from its basilica up to the panoramic terraces beneath the Christ statue, roam the mountain-top viewpoints, optionally try some of Tibidabo's iconic rides, and regroup for sunset over Barcelona at 19:54.

Plan:

• 16:30 meet at the Cuca de Llum lower station, Plaça del Doctor Andreu
• 16:45 to 17:00 ascent (a 4-minute ride, departures every 15 minutes)
• 17:10 Sagrat Cor: basilica, lift and panoramic terraces (they close at 19:45)
• afterwards: viewpoints, drinks, photos, optional rides
• 19:54 sunset from the free panoramic viewpoints
• 20:15 last funicular down (or walk down)

Costs, all optional:

• Cuca de Llum funicular: €13.50 return, recommended (the default way up, but not a hard requirement: bus or walking up work too)
• Sagrat Cor lift to the terraces: €8
• rides in the panoramic area: €4 each (entering the area itself is free)

No fixed tour: join when you can, split off when you want, find the swarm again for sunset.

Come for the architecture, the views, the photos and Barcelona turning into night from 500 metres above the city.
