Thank you. Titles are somewhat difficult for me too, but I like the hints the title give to the chapter. It sets the tone, sometimes intentionally to rip someone's heart out (like this one) or to give a warning.

My epigraphs are used in the same way. I use them to avoid the "as everyone in the room knows" type of comments, so usually they are there to give additional details about the scene, explain some quirk of the culture, or just set the tone for the chapter.

And thank you for loving the ending. I struggle to create emotional stories at the beginning. As my editor told me, "you can break people's hearts a little earlier" given that my first three novels all had tear-jerkers in the final few chapters.
