Dear Bahbahra, I heard the news,
The word came fast and furious
That a penpal's what you're looking for
And I am more than curious.
If a sheep is what is on your mind
Then you are so in luck.
I'm a black-faced sheep from Scotland:
(Much better than a duck!)
My name is Hamish, Gaelic for James;
Together we could talk.
And just like you, I'm a stranger here,
(I'm better than a hawk!)
You're a Kiwi and I'm a Scot;
Aliens both are we.
We'd get along just super,
(Don't bother with a bee!)
Scotty the dog is my only friend,
But he is not a sheep.
He doesn't talk our language,
Our friendship's not too deep.
So Bahbahra please think of me,
Lonely like you too.
And choose me as your penpal,
(Don't choose that old gnu!)
