Monster is in a really tight race with Cowboy Bebop as my favorite anime of all time, and I opted to list it as my number one when I did my Top 20 Favorite Anime list a while back.

It's really hard for a show to stay that good for so long. I was honestly worried the first time I watched it because I had no idea how you could possibly follow the Library Scene that happens half way through, but with the introduction of Grimmar (My favorite character in any type of media), the show managed to keep getting better.
