If I only made a hive a day on Hive, I don't think it would be worth the time investment for me. Of course thanks to the delegation I got right now, I tend to make a bit more than that most days just off curation. :p

That said, I certainly don't make anywhere near a living wage off it, I do live in the US, but I am making enough to make it worth my time. Some well timed sells when prices were higher did a lot to help clear out my remaining debt leaving me in a much better place financailly than I was before.

And while I"m not actively making money off it right now, at least not money I can spend, it's a solid way to build something up so I will see a nice chunk of change when I eventually cash out and leave the world of blogging behind.
