I've never liked the idea of 'Anime for non-anime fans' honestly. There are so many different kinds, almost anyone who isn't entirely opposed to watching cartoons as an adult will likely find something they enjoy.

It's not about finding shows to appeal to a non anime fan, it's about finding the show that will appeal to an individuals tastes.
