So you're saying every anime every made is made in the same style? Of the thousands of anime, all the different studios, all the different generations, there has only ever been one single style of anime?

The term anime has never been used to describe a style, it has always been used to refer to Japanese animation. There may be certain traits that are commonly associated with most anime, but those are things that have been used in western cartoons as well, see Teen Titans and Megas XLR as I mentioned in the post. No one refers to those shows as anime.
