The Nigerian team has been climbing due to their improved performance. In recent times, the super eagles also known as Gernot Rohr’s men have risen four place above in the FIFA ranking indecent times. Not so much has been said about this but this is indeed an improvement on the part of the super eagles team.
The super eagles are currently ranking 42nd in the world. Although, this is still far behind compared to several other teams but they have improved abit and this is indeed good.
Last month, the super eagles team played and won two competitive matches and they rounded off in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series, with a 3-1 win over Seychelles, they also won the Egyptians by a goal to nil.
The super eagles are currently ranked third in Africa, only below Senegal and Tunisia.
