Nigeria under 19 cricket team “Junior Yellow Green” has qualified for the cricket world cup for the first time ever.
They attained this great achievement by topping week-long qualifying series at Namibia. They defeated Sierra Leone with two wickets. Kamara Henry stopped Nigeria's bowler from Paul cling vital points.
Some player had two wicket including Mohamed Taiwo, Abdulrahman Jimoh, Peter Aho and Abolarin Rasheed. Nigeria was 38 runs for three wickets with the game still not decided when at 20 overs.
Danladi Isaac struck 25 runs off 46 balls, and Miracle Ikaigbe 22 runs off 56 balls steadied the ship with a 47 runs.
Peter Aho was named man of the match with 2 wicket and 21 not out runs.
