People bathe in the fucking Ganges with dead bodies and yet Texans never miss an opportunity to bitch about the beach.
So the water is brown. It's sediment. It isn't going to hurt you. You know what the water isn't? Cold as fuck like every beach on the east or west coast I've ever been to. Our water is warm and it feels great.
Last time I was at surfside beach I found some fiddler crabs, some hermit crabs. I swam in the water and I saw a fucking dolphin and it was awesome because I wasn't too busy comparing my experience to beaches in movies to enjoy myself.
