This is a good and important post. I think verbal, physical and financial self-defense seminars should be mandatory or at least highly recommended for young students. I do remember having a useful self-defense class as a part of the high school boys gym class.

A post idea (that I could do) would be an overview of self defense and martial arts for kids and adults. I do have to put a note that there are some martial artist bad guys.
