The ruleset for this week's challenge

image.png

  • Weak Magic - Magic hits armor first before hitting health

The ruleset that I managed to get

image.png

  • Rulesets - Close Range & Weak Magic
  • Mana Cap - 49
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

  • With this weeks challenge the specific summoner type doesn't really matter
  • In my case as earth was active I in my opinion Mylor Crowling is one of the best summoners I went with him
1st Position: Grund

  • Grund was my main tank for this battle
  • Main reason I like Grund here a lot is his huge damage with his Double Strike ability
  • Double Strike - This unit attacks twice each round
2nd Position: Mushroom Seer

  • Love this card so much because of his Silence ability
  • Silence - Reduces the magic attack of all enemy units
3rd Position: Sand Worm

  • huge melee damage monster with Sneak
  • For 9 mana you get 5 damage (with Sneak), 2 speed and 6 hp
  • Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
4th Position: Wood Nymph

  • Next up in line is one lovely healer card
  • Even tho you don't get a lot of stats for 4 mana you do get the Tank Heal ability which I really like
  • Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round
5th Position: Goblin Psychic

  • And another healer just cause why not
  • Even tho he costs 2 mana more then Wood Nymph you get a bit better stats
  • Tank Heal - Restores a portion of the unit in the first position's health each round
6th Position: Mycelic Slipspawn

  • Mycelic Slipspawn was my backline tank for this battle
  • Also hes has some quite amazing stats being 2 magic damage, 2 speed and 11 hp
  • Alongside the amazing stats is hes Taunt ability
  • Taunt - All enemy units target this unit(if they are able to)

Starting board

image.png

  • The starting board didn't really say anything how the battle might end
  • So the only way to find out was to start the battle

image.png

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • Nothing really happened in the 1st Round other than my backline tank was almost dead already
2nd Round

image.png

  • In the 2nd Round we traded two for two
  • So the battle was still quite even
3rd Round

image.png

  • In the 3rd Round I lost one of my healers and the battle was beginning to look quite sad
  • But I still had hope
4th Round

image.png

  • After 4th Round the board was looking quite empty
  • I got two of his monsters and he got the other healer I had
5th Round

image.png

  • This was the saddest round in this battle for me
  • My Sandworm happened to miss and that was the deal breaker
6th Round

image.png

  • After my Sandworm had died I had lost the battle
  • If I just would've hit the last attack
  • Battle Replay Link

Summary

  • This battle was quite even and fun to watch
  • I would've definitely won this battle if my Sandworm hadn't missed his attack
  • If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
