The ruleset for this week's challenge

Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Pyre
- The main reason I picked Pyre was that my best ranged team was Fire element
- Other than that +1 speed is great in any situation
1st Position: Molten Ash Golem
- Molten Ash Golem was one of my main tanks for this battle
- Main reason I like Molten Ash Golem here a lot is hes Close Range ability
- Close Range - Units with ranged attacks are allowed to attack in the first position
2nd Position: Firecaller
- Love this card so much because of her stats and Martyr ability
- Firecaller was in the second position so if he died my 3rd position would get buffed and moved to the 1st position
- Martyr - When a unit with the martyr ability dies in a battle, it gives adjacent characters +1 to all stats
3rd Position: Lava Launcher
- Another great stat monster with Close Range
- Love this card a lot because of his high stats
- Close Range - Units with ranged attacks are allowed to attack in the first position
4th Position: Scavo Firebolt
- Next up in line is just a simple ranged monster
- I picked him because he was low mana cost and had 2 ranged damage
5th Position: Fire Elemental
- I picked Fire Elemental for two reasons
- First because of hes great stats + the low mana cost
- And the second reason was hes Blast ability
- Blast - Does additional damage to units adjacent to the target monster
Starting board
- The starting board didn't really say anything other than I had more monsters than him but hes monsters were higher level
- Only with this look at the board the battle could go either way
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- After 1st Round I was quite confident that I would win this battle
- I just had much higher damage than my enemy
2nd Round
- After 2nd Round I had only lost my Molten Ash Golem and still had my Lava Launcher
- Secondly I saw that I had more speed so my monsters were going to kill my enemies Lava Launcher before he can even damage my monsters
3rd Round
- In the 3rd Round my enemies Lava Launcher died and now it was just down to defeating the last standing monsters
4th Round
- It took me just 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After hes Scavo Firebolt had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- I believe the knowledge to take away from this game is Close Range is so op in Going the Distance ruleset
- Only thing I missed from Taking Sides ruleset was Furious Chicken
