The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Back to Basics - Units lose all abilities
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Earthquake & Back to Basics
- Mana Cap - 43
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Brighton Bloom
- With the ruleset combo I got there was only one summoner who could get me a significant advantage
- And that summoner was Brighton Bloom as he grants your monsters the Flying ability
- Flying - This unit has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from units who do not have the flying ability
1st Position: Undead Rexx
- Undead Rexx was my main tank for this battle
- Main reason I played Undead Rexx here was his stats
- For 9 mana I got 5 melee damage, 2 speed and 9 hp
2nd Position: Phantom Soldier
- Just a simple high hp magic damage monster
- Getting magic damage monster with 8 hp was huge as he could still attack enemy monsters and also was ready to tank if needed
3rd Position: Magi of Chaos
- At this point I was beginning to play bit weaker monsters just because I didn't have any great ones left
- But like the last ones again just a simple magic damage monster
4th Position: Magi Necrosi
- Next up in line is Magi Necrosi
- Without his abilities he is not the best pick for his mana but I just didn't have anything else
5th Position: Insidious Warlock
- Love this card a lot because of his ability
- Sadly this battle that didn't matter
- But I still played him because he still has some great base stats
6th Position: Magi Sphinx
- And for last but not least is Magi Sphinx
- Again for 5 mana his base stats aren't that bad despite his health which was quite low being just 4
Starting board
- Already after seeing the starting board I was quite confident I would win because my enemy went with ranged comp with very little frontline
- Also my summoner pick was much much better
- But anything could still happen so let's start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- After 1st Round I still had all my monster alive because my enemy managed to miss 3 ranged damage
- I had already took down my enemies Usut and now I was 100% sure I was going to win because he only had one low hp magic damage monster before his ranged monsters were going to drop down to 1st position and not be able to attack
2nd Round
- In 2nd Round even tho my Undead Rexx died I got two of my enemies monsters for exchange
- Now it was just a waiting game as my enemy didn't have enough damage left to do anything
3rd Round
- In the 3rd Round my enemies Dhampir Stalker died and now it was just down to defeating the last standing monsters
- Just needed to wait for the Earthquake damage and one attack to finish the battle
4th Round
- It took me Earthquake damage and 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monster
- After hes Queen of Crows had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- The battle came down to summoner diff and my enemy playing ranged damage monsters without the ability for them to attack from the 1st position
