Hellooo everyone!! We went for our first early morning walk in our new neighborhood and discovered that instead of being 1.5 km away from the beach as we thought we're actually about 700 meters away. We wouldn't have suspected a thing had a friend whom lives 2 streets away from our new address not told us on Friday night. We never would have found this secret little path down to the beach which stretches a few kilometers to both sides. My heart is filled after dipping my toes in the water.
Wowzers what a week it's been. Our new home is still cluttered due to lack of cupboards however we're slowly but surely finding spaces for all our little knickknacks.
Our new neighborhood has so many places to explore and some very convenient little nooks and crannies it's super exciting. After our walk we visited the local patisserie for some freshly baked baguettes for brunch and enjoyed an impromptu coffee soaking up the Sunday morning atmosphere. I could even use my brand-new baguette bag friend lizzyb1970 gave me for my birthday. Chuffed much!
We've had some breakfast, I'm keen to sort some stuff in the kitchen and then the day is open for relaxing. Tomorrow we'll work again.
