I saw this tweet the other day and it blew me away. I had no idea that Hello Kitty, Mickey MOuse, and Winnie the Pooh were so big.
My guesses would have been the following.
Star Wars
MCU
Pokemon
Harry Potter
All this got me thinking about where I spend my money.
So I decided to sit down and actually track down every dollar I spent last month. It was a very revealing experience. I even went as far as breaking it out in categories and trying to see where we could cut back during the next 30 days.
Fun fact - The dkid14 household spent a total of 192 on pokemon last month.
1 - $14 starter pokemon pack.
6 - $5 single packs.
1 - $154 PSA graded pokemon card. I will make a post about this one later. It is one I have wanted for a long time.
That 119b in revenue is only going up if you ask me.
Okay back to my tracking of dollars.
Top 3 places my wife and I are going to cut back in the next 30 days.
1 - eating out. We get tired at night and its soo easy to just pick up food. Time to cut back.
2 - snacks. This will be good for our waistlines too.
3 - amazon. Whenever we want something we usually just log in and purchase it. New rule - put it int he cart. Then at the end of the week if we still need it, we will purchase it. IF not needed then delete it and move on without it.
Find ways to cut back a little and it will help build those savings and give you a little more money for hive 馃榾 馃
