it’s not very often that my dad opens up his silver collection. It’s funny even growing up. I knew he had a silver collection, but we never looked at it. I didn’t even start worrying about collecting self until I started Steemit back in the day.
I wish I would’ve paid attention as he was collecting throughout the years.
Tonight was really fun though because I got to dig in and look at some of his stuff. He doesn’t have a ton of collector items. He more focused on junk silver. He does have some cool collection stuff though, and I’ve given him a few cool things throughout the years that we went through and looked at.
my brother getting into it now. He still likes to collect gems more than he likes to collect silver eventually, he’ll switch over though.
we did find this old Edmonds coin price book though. Looks like it’s from 1984. Never seen one of these before looking up on eBay. Looks like they still sell for about six bucks so they’re not worth a lot. Still cool to find.
