I read this a few months ago.
I might have even done a post on it.
I was not a believer in what they were trying to accomplish. So a group of us put an order through and we were impressed. Here is what I saw last year in the news.
GRAPEVINE, Texas, Oct. 15, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) (“GameStop” or the “Company”) today announced it has entered into a collaboration with Collectors, through its Professional Sports Authenticator division (“PSA”). PSA offers the world’s largest and most trusted trading card and autograph authentication and grading services. As part of this collaboration, GameStop will become an authorized PSA dealer, and PSA will provide authentication and grading services for trading cards through select GameStop stores across the United States.
Grading cards has always been such a pain. Especially for people just starting out. I’ve helped so many people just get 1-2 cards graded because they don’t want to go through the hassle. I now feel confident that I can just send them to game stop and I’m going to do the same.
The process is easy.
Prepare the card. Soft plastic and a protective sleeve.
Go sign up.
Best to become a game stop pro member for $25 a year or something like that. It gets you better prices on graded cards.
Send the card off. Wait 2 months and like magic you have a graded card.
I’m going to send off a few more cards this week hopefully. I’ll share what grades I get later.
