As a kid I remember a trip where my dad was super excited. It was when we went to Mesa Verde. My dad loved it so much. I remember him being excited the whole trip. We did a lot of hikes where we climbed up ladders up into these dwellings. We got to study a lot about the people that live there. My dad bought books maps and everything just so that we could have the most immersive experience possible

For over 700 years, the Ancestral Pueblo people built thriving communities on the mesas and in the cliffs of Mesa Verde. Today, the park protects the rich cultural heritage of 27 Pueblos and Tribes and offers visitors a spectacular window into the past. This World Heritage Site and International Dark Sky Park is home to over a thousand species, including several that live nowhere else on earth.
Colorado is a such a cool state and this is one of the coolest parks in the state I think. I really want to take my kids there.
well I found a piece of silver recently that had Mesa Verde on the back and the front talking about it. I knew I had to get it from my dad. So last night I was able to give this to him and he was super pumped about it. It’s always fun giving pieces of silver that will last a lifetime to have some meaning to them. I wish I could find more like this.
Take a look.
Go buy some silver. Go visit national parks and enjoy nature.
