This is probably my first time drawing a portrait of a real person. I have used the reference of the real models for pose references before but I usually don’t try to draw those models.
Well, actually I picked the reference photo just for pose and expression as usual but I ended up drawing her.
Although, I drew in my style so the finished artwork is semi-realistic.
The reference is my oldest daughter. Sorry but I will not attach the reference photo.
I have change the hair style. She has longer hair but I thought she would look cute in short hair as well.
You should have seen my husband face when our daughter came home with very short hair from having very long hair. He could not look at her and would not talk to her for a week.
I received the comment “Why is her hair so short?” When I showed him this drawing. Haha he loves long hair.
Anyways, photos below are the process.
アニメキャラクターはよく描きますが、人物画を描くのは初めてかもしれません。よくモデルさんの写真を参考にしますが、今まではポーズを参考にするだけで、そのモデルさん本人を描くことはなかったです。
今回もポーズと表情だけを参考にするはずっだったのですが、気づいたらモデルさんを描いていました。
あ、でもセミリアルで描いてます。写真そのままは描けませんね〜モデルは我が家の長女ちゃんなので参考にした写真は載せませんがお許しを〜
髪は本人より短くしました。
そういえば、この絵を見せた時も言われましたが、我が家の旦那様は長い髪がお好みなんですよね〜
「なんで短いの？」って可愛いと思ったからですよ。
娘が長かった髪をショートヘアにして帰ってきた時の旦那様の顔ったら、笑えましたよ。娘の顔を1週間もちゃんと見れず会話も出来ないでいました。
さてさて、以下、過程になります。
I don’t have many process photos here. I forgot to take screen shots. I draw on single layer nowadays. I can’t go though each layer (each process) after it’s done.
過程の写真少なめです。スクショ撮り忘れました。最近は一枚のレイヤーで描いてしまうので、後でどんな風に描いていたか見られません。
