I’ve been taking some classes on Skillshare.com. One of the instructors recommended to practice drawing shapes as I mentioned on my post before.
What I didn’t notice was that this was a class for grayscale drawing.
I found out that I was drawing shapes to better understand grayscale drawing on my own!
Hahaha I was probably half asleep during the class.
I’ve used a reference of Zoro to practice grayscale drawing.
Thank you Zoro for being such a great model. Zoro is one of the characters from the anime One Piece. He is a swordsman. I don’t know how he does it but he uses three swords.
少し前の投稿でも書きましたが、Skillshare.comでお絵描きの授業を受けています。
先生の一人に勧められて球体やキューブを描く練習をしているのですが、この授業、グリザイユ画法の授業でした。
クラスタイトルにグリザイユの文字はなく、、、先生も授業では触れず（寝ていたのか私?)
この練習がグリザイユ画法の基本に繋がるということを、描いていて気づいた私です。
グリザイユ画法はグレースケールで描いてから後で色を乗せる画法です。前にこの画法でカカシ先生を描きましたが、今回はゾロにモデルをお願いしました。

I was very excited when I found out. I looked for the reference and started drawing right away.

気づいてめちゃめちゃワクワクしたので、すぐに元絵を探して描き始めました。
Well, it wasn’t as easy as I thought. It needed much re-shaping and blending.
まあ、そんな簡単にはいきませんよね。
腕の位置や顔や手の大きさ、直して色をブレンドして、また直してを何度も繰り返してやっと形になった感じです。
I took the rest of the class later. I think the instructor said the word grayscale once. The title of the class doesn’t even mention it. I guess I’m just supposed to know...
Anyways, he explained how to turn grayscale drawings into coloured drawings so I tried it as well.
I don’t like how it turned out though. I think my grayscale drawing wasn’t fully developed.
That tells me I need to head out for more practice! ;)
後で残りの授業も受けました。せんせーグリザイユ画法なんて一回しか言ってな〜い！
分かってて当たり前なのかな。。。
色の乗せ方も教えてくれたので私も挑戦してみましたが、上手くいきませんでした。
これはグリザイユでちゃんと描けていないということですね。
また頑張ります！
