I did some drawing for the first time in a while. I have been away from drawing for various reasons, but I want to start drawing little by little again.
I drew a "Nyanmonite." today.
"Nyanmonite" is a playful term combining "nyan," which is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a cat's meow, and "ammonite," referring to the spiral shape of the prehistoric mollusk, to describe a cat curled up in a circular shape.
I referred to "How to Draw a Nyanmonite" by Nekohachi (@ maru0hachi on X), a cat painter I've been following on X. I receive a tutorial of how draw cats on LINE once a month.
Now, let's sketch!
It's been a while since I last drew, but Nekohachi's explanation was easy to understand, so I managed to draw without much difficulty.
Now for the colouring.
I used a brush tool that I had never used before for colouring.
Brush tools used : Procreate - 6B Pencil, Dry Ink, Gloaming
And it's finished!

久しぶりにお絵描きをしました。
いろんな理由で描くことから離れていたのですが、また少しずつ描いていきたいです。
今回描いたのは、ニャンモナイト。
猫が丸くなって眠っている姿は本当に愛らしいです。
参考にしたのは、Xでお世話になっている、ねこはちさん (はち・ねこ画家 @ maru0hachiさん) の「ニャンモナイトの描き方」です。LINEで「アトリエねこはち」の猫の描き方の配信を受けています。

久しぶりに描きましたが、ねこはちさんの描き方解説が分かりやすいので、あまり苦労せずに描けました。
色を塗ります。
色塗りは今まで使ったことのないブラシツールを使ってみました。
使用したブラシツール : Procreate - 6B Pencil, Dry Ink, Gloaming
出来上がり♪
