Wassup Steemit World
I'm @DjWolvie, an independent 25 year old born in West Philadelphia with significant years raised in main line suburbs (#TeamNarb), with a bachelors degree from U of Arizona in humanities and communications. I currently reside in Studio City, California making a living in the cannabis industry as a manager for TRU Pharms. I believe Steemit will be a great way to release my intuitions and ideas to the community to better understand myself and the world around me.
My passions include:
-Basketball
First sport I loved and played at the same high school as Kobe Bryant under same coach. I currently play for The Buckets rec team coming off a championship. I KNOW basketball.
-Hip Hop music/culture:
My natural taste in music and the identity I choose to be associated with. Took courses at U of A (https://africana.arizona.edu/minor-hip-hop-studies) and worked as blogger at @HipHopDX in Hollywood. I AM HIP HOP
-Cannabis:
After the D.A.R.E scare, I was convinced that cannabis was not as harmful as advertised during my freshmen year in college and I became aware of the good and bad of cannabis and developed my own opinions. With a few years passed I have gained sufficient knowledge of cannabis and still learning. I'm dedicated to worldwide legalization.
-Self Improvement aka Peaking:
In college, my group of friends have been united over what we know as "Peaking". Any improvement of your self and feeling great about something in life is a "Peak". I believe that becoming the best person you can be is something that is universally wanted but is difficult to achieve. Each week is a chance to become better in someway then the previous week but of course it's easier said then done. In saying this, I'm motivating my self and possibly others to remember to stay peaking.
I have plenty of interests, but those are my main topics that I truly feel passionate about.
