I just tried to play in Decentraland. I bought the tokens before they launched their platform and decided to have a look. Kinda similar to what my daughters are playing in Roblox. Except this one will be available in Virtual Reality.
First you need Metamask wallet in order to login, and the decentraland account is then connected to it, as there are items you need can buy and sell inside the game
You can customize your Avatar to enter this world
I finally chose this look 😄
And then I needed to spend 100 Mana to claim my name, so i needed some ether and mana transferred to my metamask in order to execute this order
There is a marketplace where you can purchase land and items like earrings or caps to put on your avatar. Each item also has limit, maybe to control inflation and make it more rare.
I didn't see many other players inside , i have seen some houses that has playground and music. Seems a bit boring to play at this stage, could be fun when there are many players though
