Bona nit a tots, dear Hivers in the Full Deportes community. Five posts referring to the Barca - Inter issue have already been excellently demagnetized by my colleagues in the community. In a blunt, sincere, furious, frustrating and even poetic way (and I'm not even close) they have implemented in a few paragraphs of words what happened in the Spotify Camp Nou today. I have little time in this great community, I have been absorbing concepts and perspectives that I did not have before, and that is a product of the interaction, conversation and debate that can occur between two different views. Speaking clearly of a soccer context, as I have advanced in age, I have been leaving aside the passion for debate, partly out of boredom and partly because, if for someone else it is better to play with a 442 than with a 433, that's up to him.
But little by little that flame has been rekindled, and I feel good about it, to be honest. This is a difficult post, as I mentioned: my colleagues have already expressed it perfectly (today's topic) and I don't know what to do differently to get your attention. If you've made it this far, join me in this post below and let's see what comes out of it.
Before I began to write I realized that in the community rules it was not forbidden to talk about religion; being so, I proceed to leave a phrase destined to last in eternity.
- God does not play dice" - Albert Einstein.
Well, that phrase was from a genius and next, from a simple mortal that you may not know:
- "God is not cule" - David Josue Baños.
Why this madness, you may ask, and the fact is that at 25 years old I have had enough time to think about many things, and one of them is that God is a soccer player. God loves this wonderful sport, he also gets frustrated when the ball hits the crossbar and does not go into the goal, he gets upset when a player of his team is expelled, and surely he will also shout to the Angels next to him the goals of his team in the 95th minute.
That is clear to me, and it is also clear to me that FC Barcelona does not have God's membership card. He is not a Barca fan, I am even certain that he is a Real Madrid fan. I am about to confirm that theory.
Now, that God does not support Barca does not mean that he is upset or disappointed with them, nothing to do with it. He is God and he decides what he wants, I am nobody to question him or to reproach him for his decisions. If he is a Madrid fan and the club continues to give him joy in Europe, I am happy, to be honest, because I want him to be happy.
Yes... at this point I have tremendous respect and esteem for the reader who continues to read such a peroration. Am I crazy? maybe, I don't know.
LOS MILAGROS NO EXISTEN EN CAN BARCA - MIRACLES DO NOT EXIST AT CAN BARCA
Esas cosas aca no suceden.
Heroic comebacks do not happen here, here a player does not pull the rabbit out of the hat, he throws a cross, the defender clears it with his hand and a penalty is called, here the opposing team's defender turns into Beckenbauer in all defensive plays, the goalkeeper into Lev Yashin taking all the shots that go into the goal. Things don't happen here that happen elsewhere.
They will say, "but in 2009 they won everything" "but they beat PSG with the most memorable comeback in history" and maybe yes, it is a valid thought, a reasonable argument, but I say, well, the sextete is no longer a defensive argument because a decade has passed. And what good is that comeback against Paris if after it they made 2 consecutive comebacks much more painful?
If you don't know the context, I recommend you to see the posts of my colleagues. I'm talking about soccer, but not soccer in depth.
I'll make it short: Barcelona drew today against Inter 3-3 in a great duel for the neutral spectator. But a pitiful one for the "cules" and euphoric for the "neroazurri".
There is talk of "There is still a slim hope that they can qualify" and that "It depends on a miracle" but, friends, that doesn't happen here. That doesn't happen here. Those things don't happen here. And I think you understand why I talk about God most of the time.
CONCLUSIONES FINALES Y DESPEDIDA - FINAL CONCLUSIONS AND FAREWELL
I must say that one of my intentions with this writing, although it may not seem so, was to get at least a laugh, if that was achieved with at least one person, I will feel fulfilled, without any doubt.
Sometimes in soccer things happen that have the nuance of being supernatural. Look at the last Champions League won in a spectacular way by the merengue club. That mystique, that drive, and some things also inexplicable. May God come down and explain it.
Also, there are occasions where the victory is only under soccer arguments and not supernatural. When a team dominates the opponent from start to finish, takes the ball away from him and does with it what is the end of the game: win. To win you have to score, and that happens when you did the right thing with the ball at your feet.
Today when Lewandoswki made it 3-3 and look at the clock, I looked up and asked God for a miracle, but it didn't happen.
Let me clarify: If I resort to religious methods because I give up on soccer, then something is wrong with the team and maybe they don't deserve that miracle. But in soccer those miracles happen, because it is an incomprehensible sport.
There is nothing more to say, Barcelona is out of the Champions League, the capital injection was useless, because the result is the same as last season. Now it's time to play on Thursdays. And focus on the league, the next one, the Clasico on Sunday. Thanks for your support and we will keep reading!
