First, its censorship because neds stake was sold alongside steemit. Making that particular amount of steem also Tron property. This answering one of your latter questions aswell.
Yes Justin Sun has clearly stated that his intentions are to decentralize the internet and compete with data mining giants like youtube and facebook with the censorship resistant and privacy centric properties of dlt . Which to me alligns with the fundamentals of steemit.
By renewed utility I mean the fact that even if steem mainchain stays as it is. It will eventually be either interoperable between the chains or interlaced with tron dapps as a chain swappablr stablecoin steem tokena nd that gives it plenty of use as a cross-chain currency as well as a platform ledger.
Yeah i mean communities and the SMT stuff all that. This is just the beginning.
By cryptocurrency community I mean people who dont descriminate between crypto projects that meet the standards expected of dlt.
My standard for steem was betrayed by censorship.
Justin has communicated, he has shown his willing ness to be part of the progress simply by posting his involvement publically. You're right groundwork needs to be laid out but this acquisition is less than a month in an ads are gone and communities were launched. Whether or not Justin had anything to do with building communities it was pleasant to see Steemit inc actually pushing something out so quickly after his acquisition. He does own steem though. Not all of it, but what amount of steem he does own has now been tampered with by others without his consent.
