These flowers have the most amazing orange color. But I like them better in black& white. So, so much for the color challenge. This made me think, we always do stuff for other people. There's a color challenge, maybe I should do that, so I get more followers, more people that see my picture.
But I'm in the middle of midlife crisis, which is everything as real as puberty. I didn't believe it existed. But here it is. Almost 41, sitting at work thinking what am I doing here. I'm creating software for smart meters. I used to think, that's pretty cool. But now I'm like, what does it mean, why am I doing this. Well I don't know.
I'm going through some things trying to make sense of it all, and you know what, it's all starting to make sense. I'm finally starting to realize it doesn't matter. For all you thinking: 'this guy has a depression', it's actually the opposite ... it's a beginning of a sense of freedom.
So I take pictures. When you read books about photography, there all about developing a style ... And I believed it. But in the end maybe you get a style, maybe not. In the end it is whatever makes you happy. And that took me way too long to realize that. And when I talk to other people my age I'm very much not alone.
