“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
One thing that is inevitable in life is a time of waiting. For there is some certain things we most wait for God approver. David as a case study was anointed by Prophet Samuel to be king over Israel but has to wait some time to assume the office of king with so many trouble associate his awaiting. But in all he still has to wait running from one mountain to another in order to save his life from those who want to kill he.
No matter how desperate a woman is to have a baby she has to wait for nine months for the baby to be fully matured to be born.
Even after the child is born the parents will have to wait for the child to grow up to become an adult.
If a farmer cultivate a farm he has to wait for the crop to grow up to maturity, this could take years depending on the type of crop.
If a student gets an admission into a school there is a stipulated number of months or years that the student has to go through in order to get the certificate.
If you apply for a job there could be a period of waiting to get a response from the organisation.
If waiting is inevitable we must therefore understand that our attitude during this period matters a lot.
Note
We can become unnecessarily impatient that we abort the process of maturity of what God wants to bring forth in our lives.
If I have to wait then I should enjoy the period of waiting.
The right attitude during your time of waiting will include the following:
PRAYER:
Lord help me to wait for your plans in my life no matter what come my way. May The fruit of my patience not pass me bye.
