“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” Jer 1:5
The destination of our lives was determined before it began. We are not an afterthought of God’s imagination. It was not when we arrived here that God started thinking of what to do with our lives. We did not come here on experiment. God had a definite plan and destination for our lives. We are not biological mistakes of unprepared parents. The destination was determined before the journey began. Your life was pre-planned, prearranged and predetermined by the all wise and omini science God.
This should give you a lot of confidence about life and about yourself. It should also stir up in you lots of thanksgiving and adoration to God. The scripture clearly tells us that we were on his mind even before the foundation of the world. From our anchor scripture today we can also see clearly that God knew us even before our parents met.
One major implications of all this is to become conscious of the reality of God’s destination for our lives. This will also imply that we coordinate our lives in such a way that it will be in the direction of God’s destiny for our lives. Decisions determine direction and direction determine destination. Every decision we make in life will either take us towards God’s destination for our lives or take us away from it. If we are conscious of destiny then we’ll make sure that we don’t just go anywhere nor do whatever everyone is doing. A common and general decision will take our lives in a common and general destination. So many lives are confused and haphazard. We cannot afford to go in that direction. We must seek God with the whole of our hearts until we are sure of exactly His direction for our lives. I will see you in your destiny. The most destiny of man is to please his creator. My prayer for us all is these, that the Grace to fulfil our destiny shall be granted unto us from above in Jesus name.
