"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust" [Eph 4:22]
After your repentance and confession, you don't have to live in your past. Remember when God forgives, he forgets. The only thing you may have to remember is the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross; as a price for your redemption. So put off your old sinful man and live in the consciousness of your new creature or new man in Christ.
