After nearly 10 months, gymnast Carlos Edriel Yulo has arrived in the Philippibes was reunited with his family.
This was after Yulo won the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Stuttgart, Germany.
The plane Yulo boarded arrived at NAIA terminal 3 on Tuesday night where he was met by his family eager for his return.
Yulo proudly presented his gold medal in front of the media.
19-year-old Yulo has made history as he has given the Philippines its first gold medal from the World Artistic Gymnastics men's floor excercise that is often nominated by countries from Europe.
