we must understand As Christians, that only through God can we know and discern what lies in the future. d in John 14:29, Jesus sai
“I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, ye might believe.”
This means the reason Christ revealed things beforehand is to strengthen our faith when they happen.
Also in Ecclesiastes 9:5 we learnt that the living know they will die, but the dead know nothing.
Hebrews 9:27 added to this by telling us that every person will die once and then comes judgment. life is temporary , that is what These verses teach us, it also teaches us that and judgment is sure.
The knowledge of these truths is what God gives us , the reason is so we can live faithfully, trusting His plan for our future.
