Hi @leaky20, I'm glad you shared your french home with us and I think it's brilliant to be able to write about it and freeze this memory so you could get back to it one day. Indeed Ikea is an expat's convenient and practical choice (haha for the record I am not an Ikea brand ambassador) but they're functional. That's a big change for you both.
