My apologies for the late reply @abisag and @minimalistliving I've been out of Hive for a gazillion years and I just popped in today. High five to the freedom and authenticity of letting our hair down.

I went to a strict religious school. Our principal insisted that our hair be tied neatly or pulled back with a headband. I often got into trouble with this and was frequently punished for not doing so. To avoid further punishments, I had a hair tie in my pocket and would remove it as soon as they were out of sight.
