Anti-Abuse Team Weekly Report #10
Friday - November 10th - 2017
We are back to our weekly schedule of every Friday. Though it did seem that this week was fairly busy as far as repeat offenders, it was still pretty consistent with our usual numbers over-all. The increase in concurrent users is a nice thing to see.
The details of this weeks prune of the member-list -
- 4987 Members before this week's prune was run. (177 new accounts since last week)
- 30 Day Prune has removed 131 dead accounts. (143 less were removed this Prune. Oddly enough, last week's delta was 143 over.)
- This leaves our count at 4856 Members after the prune.
- ~550 Concurrent users online at 15:00 EST (10% increase from previous)
Updated stats on Bans and Blacklist -
- 1009 Discord bans (+63 new from previous)
- 573 accounts in total are now Blacklisted by
@minnowsupport (+42 from previous)
In summary:
A little more active on the Blacklist this week, and the fact that we have crossed the 1k bans mark is fairly impressive. I am finding that I have a few individuals who are rather persistent. I have one who has managed to rack up 20+ bans across their 3 Steemit accounts. They just keep trying.
I will be investigating methods to add a watch-list as well, that can give me a report daily on certain accounts and who they are sending a transfer to. This should help me track some of the sneakier repeat offenders better.
As always, my close work with Steamcleaners has been paying off as we help each other to deal with trouble-makers.
We keep growing, people keep trying to abuse our stuff, we keep stopping them.
