Through this activity the burden and responsibility of education is not only a burden on schools and families, but also the social responsibility of the environment in which the school is located. The success of this program should also be measurable and perceived benefits by students, teachers, parents and the community through several indicators of achievement.
With education gotong royong days, partnerships between educational units with family and community can be strengthened in response to rampant violence and other deviant behavior.
Back to education days gotong royong, school, family and community during the day will be actively involved in various activities in school and outside school. In school, the teaching and learning activities only last from 07.00-12.00. The process went on as usual. The difference is, on this day, the time is only until 12.00 or for 5 hours.
After school hours, students then return to the family for lunch together until 14.00. After that, parents with children, to the next activity which is named the school community.
This activity starts at 14.30-17.30. All families can attend various social activities that have been designed together in the monthly committee session. Certainly can be designed in various forms according to the needs and mutual agreement.
Can also be packaged in the form of art performances and the ability of students who are watched directly by parents and the community in the school environment. In principle, these joint activities should not be monotonous but packed in various forms on every day of mutual education.
