The Sword Fern ( Polystichum munitum )
This is a sword fern. In scientific terms it is called Polystichum munitum. I went for a walk in a park with my family and while taking some pictures there I suddenly saw a fern tree. Then I capture these fern trees on my phone camera.
These fern plants grow well in low altitude humid environments and in uplift acidic soils. These fern plants are planted in a greenhouse plan. These fern trees grow in bushes, creating a shrub-like condition.
The inside of these fern plants needs to be weeded every one week. This is because these fern plants cannot grow their weeds quickly. The leaves of this fern tree are very hard. These fern trees are rich in humus.
The leaves of these fern trees are bright green in color. These fern trees tend to take up a lot of space. These fern plants need constant maintenance by workers to keep them always green and fresh.
These ferns are so beautiful to look at as they flock together. These attract both the minds of the tourists. These ferns are up to 4-6 feet.
It is a tropical species and it grows larger. It is a kind of classic fern. This fern is very versatile for home garden and it is a perennial fern.
The dark green fronds of this fern grow 50 to 180 centimetres tall, in a tight clump spreading out radially from a round base.
