Estas últimas semanas hemos estado yendo mucho a la reserva; mi abuelo tenía que hacer un trabajo para participar de un concurso, y en una de las tantas visitas tuvimos el privilegio de ver este místico ¨ejemplar¨: La presencia de esta ave es todo un misterio; se dice que pocas veces las han visto las personas, y eso tiene una explicación: el color de sus plumas hace que se pueda camuflar muy bien; además, como se queda inmóvil, se parece a la rama del propio árbol.

La verdad es que el pájaro ¨fantasma¨: da mucho miedo; de solo oír su nombre te paralizas. Le dicen ave bruja por el sonido de su canto. En las noches se puede oír su canto y es muy similar al sonido que hace una persona llorando; a eso sumado que por las noches sus ojos son rojos, imagínate el miedo que debe ser verlos en las noches. Hay muchas leyendas que dicen cosas muy malas de esta ave; otros afirman que es un ave que anuncia la muerte y malos augurios. No obstante, ha sido maravilloso ver a estas preciosas aves.

The truth is that the "ghost" bird is very scary; just hearing its name makes you freeze. It's called the witch bird because of the sound of its call. At night you can hear its call, and it's very similar to the sound a person makes crying; plus, at night its eyes are red, imagine how scary it must be to see them at night.
