Hello, lizelle@lizelle! It's been a while. I don't often write blogs, but I felt I was at the wheel of sharing a bit of my journey. Since my son passed away, I've been in a state of confusion and thrown myself into work as a way to cope with the immense pain that comes with remembering our everyday life together. I miss him so much. For 24 years, I cared for him as he battled his illness, and those memories are both precious and bittersweet.

Moving right along, we’re about to set off on a new chapter as we move back to our hometown. Just like you, I find it an uphill battle to leave a place where I’ve lived for nearly four decades, so many delightful times that are woven into the fabric of this home. But I think as we age, there's a powerful force to reconnect with loved ones we've been apart from for a long time. We all express a long desire for that close attachment, don't we?
