Before the summer vacation starts, usually from mid-May to July, it is graduation season. Whether they are elementary school students, middle school students, or university students, they have all reached an important milestone in their student lives and are getting ready to begin a new journey. For many people, graduation is both exciting and complicated. On the one hand, they are happy to finally finish a long period of studying and no longer have to worry about exams, reports, or attendance. On the other hand, the classmates they used to see every day may soon go to different schools, cities, or even countries. The life they were so used to is about to change in a big way.
The Songshan Cultural and Creative Park Graduation Festival is a student graduation exhibition that has been held for many years. It supports student creativity in many ways, from exhibition planning and venues to marketing and promotion, giving more people a chance to see the passion and potential of young students. During graduation season, visitors can see student projects that are usually not easy to come across. Graduation exhibitions were originally meant for students to show their work to teachers and family members, and they were not always open to the public. However, through this joint exhibition, the public can also take a closer look at these projects. Some of the works may still feel a little rough around the edges, but they are full of creativity. They often use new technology or respond to the latest trends. With more development, some of these ideas may even be applied in real life in the future.
I also noticed that many student projects had graduation bouquets, drinks, or small snacks placed beside them. They seemed to be gifts from younger students to graduating seniors. Since everyone will go their separate ways after graduation and may not have many chances to meet again, these gifts are a way for younger students to wish their seniors well. At first glance, these little gifts may seem like a popularity indicator. The more gifts someone receives, the better they may seem to be at building relationships. But after thinking about it, that is not necessarily true. Some people may have many friends but prefer to keep things low-key, or they may have told others not to bring gifts. So, the number of gifts cannot really define anything. A person’s popularity and value should never be judged so simply.
