The event which was held in Lagos, had as its theme: ‘Towards Multi-stakeholders’ Partnership for National Cybersecurity Engagement’ aimed to secure the cooperation, understanding of other Government agencies which will help prevent disjointed policy document. It also sought to achieve a coherent and all inclusive strategy in which all other similar cybersecurity undertaken in the country will be infused into the overall framework of the National Cybersecurity Policy.
Furthermore, the forum sought to engage the organised private sector, captains of industry, policy and key decision makers in the national discourse and consultations towards building harmonised policy framework and unified strategy on national cybersecurity.
