Someone posted a beautiful woman on Steemit. I saw the photo and thought she was beautiful. This led me to thinking.
Steemians are rewarded for contributing valuable content to the community. We’re also rewarded for valuable interactions with the community. So often what is considered valuable is what is technically informative and true.
Looking at that image of the beautiful woman reminded me of the idea of “transcendentals”. The philosophical idea that the deepest longings of the human heart always come down to truth, beauty and goodness.
I think we can all agree with that what is true is valuable but I was reminded that we must have beauty and goodness in our Steemit community. Hopefully they can all overlap.
