TRAMA
El rayo de Zeus ha sido robado y Percy Jackson ha sido acusado de ser el ladrón. Una vez Percy descubre ser un semidiós para por distintas situaciones que lo llevan a descubrir quien es realmente. Este chico de 12 quien acaba de perder a su madre debe emprender una búsqueda del rayo de Zeus para evitar una guerra entre dioses y preservar la paz.
MI OPINIÓN
Cuando vi la primera película aún no había leído ninguno de los libros de esta saga, y al enterarme de esta nueva oportunidad que se le dio a la historia me interesé en leerlos. Como adaptación es mucho mejor, además de que las edades reales de los personajes se asemejan más a las que se supone que tienen, Walker Scobell es un excelente Percy (Aunque debo admitir que extraño el rostro de Logan Lerman a veces). Es una historia bastante cómica de una manera inocente pues esta protagonizada por niños, no es necesario que tengas conocimiento alguno sobre mitología griega ya que dejan todo muy bien explicado y hasta lograrás aprender sobre el tema. La serie tiene 8 capítulos de menos de una hora.
CONCLUSIÓN
Realmente espero que esta serie pueda continuar ya que me gustaría ver a Percy y a sus amigos creciendo y madurando mientras pasan por diversas situaciones y aventuras, no por nada ha sido una de las saga más famosas desde hace ya varios años, además de que más adelante nos esperan nuevos personajes que me encantaría ver.

I remember when I saw Percy Jackson for the first time back in 2010 or 2011, at first I thought it was a pretty good and entertaining movie, but then I learned that it was not very well received by fans of the Percy Jackson saga because it was not a very good adaptation, besides, if the first one was bad the second one was worse... It took several years for Rick Riordan (the author of the books) to trust again in the big screen and give the rights to make a new adaptation.
SINOPSIS
Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy Jackson has been accused of being the thief. Once Percy discovers that he is a demigod, he goes through several situations that lead him to discover who he really is. This 12-year-old boy who has just lost his mother must embark on a quest to find Zeus' lightning bolt in order to avoid a war between gods and preserve peace.
MY OPINION
When I saw the first movie I had not yet read any of the books of this saga, and when I heard about this new opportunity given to the story I was interested in reading them. As an adaptation it is much better, plus the real ages of the characters are more similar to what they are supposed to be, Walker Scobell is an excellent Percy (Although I must admit I miss Logan Lerman's face sometimes). It's a pretty comical story in an innocent way as it stars children, you don't need to have any knowledge about Greek mythology as they leave everything very well explained and you'll even get to learn about it. The series has 8 chapters of less than an hour.
CONCLUSION
I really hope this series can continue as I would like to see Percy and his friends growing and maturing as they go through different situations and adventures, not for nothing has been one of the most famous saga for several years now, plus later we expect new characters that I would love to see.
